This is Yoda, a pet wether. He is now an elderly sheep at 9 years of age. He was a bottle baby and destined to be someone's pet but they never came to get him and by then he was too much a part of our lives to put him in the freezer. Now he spends his days asking for scratches when I am in the pasture (you won't believe how hard it was to get this shot!) and teaching the lambs where the fences are and how to move around to fresh grass and go through the sweep and other things sheep have to do on our farm. He is a wise master and loves teaching the "younglings".
Make a portrait of somebody today. It can be somebody you know or a stranger. Maybe even yourself.

OK So this is late. But when I saw the assignment I knew the photo I wanted to take but life intervened and we didn't get down to town until 29 July. This is one of the posters on the wall at our local pub, Revolution Brewing.

Muddy Perspective
After the big thunderstorm dumped about an inch of rain in less than an hour on our farm. With open trenches no less. Taken a couple days late but was better than the ones I had taken on the proper day.

Soft & Dreamy
We don't get things that look soft and dreamy so I had ignored this assignment until day before yesterday. When we got rain, lots of rain. I was in the hay barn and got this shot before the emergency backhoe work & ditch digging to protect the hay.
Sunday Challenge: Compose an image that has a soft and dreamy look today, and make a photograph.

Monmouth Cap
Knitting with heavy wool in nearly 100 degree heat. Most definitely out of context. I'm going to full this cap to fit, was checking size for when to start knitting the double brim. Thanks to my husband for being a model.

Corner Fence
I initially waited until today because I knew we'd be going in to the city and I thought I'd find some nice building corners. But nothing looked as interesting as the fence corner so it's rural again for me.

Ram Horn
One of our rams. I was not as happy with the focus on this as my other shots but I liked the composition best. He's giving me the evil sheep eye, we gave them wormer today and it tastes bad.
